Bidding Period Closed - Request for Proposals – Streamlined Sales Tax Central Registration System

Bids Received in Response to Streamlined Sales Tax Governing Board’s Central Registration System Request for Proposals
Three bids were received in response to the Streamlined Sales Tax Governing Board’s (SSTGB) Central Registration System Request for Proposals.  The bids received were opened on Friday, March 14, 2014 and were submitted by Azavar Technologies Corporation, FAST Enterprises, LLC and Systems Design Solutions, Inc.

The bids are in the process of being evaluated and a recommendation will be made to the SSTGB’s Executive Committee in early April.

The SSTRS is a pass-through system that will be used by sellers and third parties to register to collect and remit the sales and use taxes in all of the participating states (currently 24) and to update their registrations in those states.  Participating states will use the information entered in the SSTRS to register these sellers in their respective state.

Click below to see the Request for Proposal (RFP) and Appendix A (Business Requirements Document) for information on the system and hosting requirements and how to submit your proposal.
