The Streamlined Sales Tax Governing Board and related committees and council will meet July 19 and 20, 2018 at the Minnesota Department of Revenue. Member state and non-member state officials, legislators and the business community are invited to attend. The Governing Board strongly encourages the attendance of each member state's appointed Governing Board Delegates (legislative and administrative) to represent their individual states and vote.
The focus of this meeting will be discussions related to implementation of remote sales tax collection authority in light of the United States Supreme Court’s decision in South Dakota v. Wayfair, et. al. to ensure smooth, efficient and transparent implementation.
Open Session – Thursday July 19, 2018 (1 – 5 pm central)
It is important to preregister prior to the meeting dates to be included in the catering headcounts, meeting room set-up and seating plans.
