The information below contains information each Streamlined Member State provided concerning its Sales Tax Holidays.

SST Member State Information Department of Revenue Sales Tax Holiday Information
Arkansas Arkansas From 12:01 am on first Saturday in August to 11:59 pm the following Sunday each year 

AR Sales Tax Holiday
Iowa Iowa Begins at 12:01 am on the first Friday in August and ends at twelve midnight on the following Saturday

Iowa Holiday Information 
Ohio Ohio Begins at 12:00 am on Friday, August 2, 2019 and ends at 11:59 pm on Sunday, August 4, 2019.

During the holiday, the following items are exempt from sales and use tax:
  • Clothing priced at $75 per item or less;
  • School supplies priced at $20 per item or less; and
  • School instructional material priced at $20 per item or less.
Items used in a trade or business are not exempt under the sales tax holiday.

Sub. S.B. 226 provided for a permanent sales tax holiday on the first Friday, Saturday and Sunday of August each year.
